A few weeks ago, the daughter of a neighbour asked me to help her with her GCSE physics revision. I told her I wasn't sure how much use I would be, because it had been almost 20 years since I had studied the subject. Then I took a look at her textbook. You can bet I've signed the petition!
I too would enjoy signing this to help your cause, but I am a citizen of the United States, but I really feel for the cause. I am chemsitry major with a physics minor who will be going for a PhD in materials science, a path I chose after starting college with the idea of being a secondary education major in physics and chemistry. With how education reform in the United States is shaping, I decided that becoming a PhD. in a field of chemistry is a better career choice, and would be more fulfilling than having to jump the the hoops that are being tested out on teachers in developing systems through the US. It seems as though the world's education administrators are removing the science from science classes and inserting politcal agendas. I could go on, but it is nearly 5 am here and I am having a difficult time collecting my thoughts at this time and I have to be awake in 4 hours. I just want to say that I am saddened that another country has taken the math and science out of science classes after seeing it happen in my own country during my senior year of highschool 4 years ago.

Ahhh, I wish I could sign this, but I'm a citizen of Bushland.

I signed the petition, but it seems to me that it overlaps with this one: "... to Reject as inadequate the new GCSE criteria for Science, with particular reference to the lack of meaningful Physics content". People might want to sign them both.
